Trusted infrastructure partners since 2013
Birch Technical Services is a specialist infrastructure, security and fibre communications contractor based in Essex, delivering services across the UK and internationally.
Our Story
Matthew Birch spent six years working across the communications and electrical industry before founding Birch Technical Services in 2013. The company started with a straightforward view: clients get a better result when the people designing the system are the same people installing it.
More than a decade on, that hasn’t changed, it has just scaled. We now run in-house teams across every discipline we offer, so a project doesn’t get handed down a chain of subcontractors. The engineer who surveys your site is part of the same business that commissions it and maintains it afterwards.
That model is why clients keep bringing us back for work that sits outside the ordinary, long-route fibre, live substations, offshore platforms and multi-site infrastructure programmes across the globe.
